What is Chi, or Qi and where does it come from?
Many Martial Arts instructors will tell you that the power of your techniques is derived from controlling your Chi. Ask your Sensei to explain what Chi really is and how to use it. For the most part, many instructors don’t understand it themselves.
Chi is energy on the brink of becoming matter, and matter at the point of becoming energy. It is vital energy, the life force.
When chi gathers, life is formed, when it dies, the body dies. Pretty powerful energy right?
This energy has various names, depending upon the culture or spiritual tradition, probably the
most commonly known being Ki (Japanese) and Chi or Qi (Chinese), but it can also be referred to as Prana (Indian), Light or Spirit or the Holy Ghost (Christian), or as Vitality or Life force.

Noun. 1. chi – the circulating life energy that in Chinese philosophy is thought to be inherent in all things; in traditional Chinese medicine the balance of negative and positive forms in the body is believed to be essential for good health. ch’i, ki, qi.
The Chinese character for Chi is gas (or energy) sitting atop the character of rice. Hence, the energy that is food, fuel, or energy.
A doctor can heal a person. A Feng shui Master practitioner can heal many people in one’s family if done correctly. – Tweet that!
You see even in the Dr. Strange Movie, he didn’t believe in Chakras or Chi … Do You?
Feng Shui Uses the Chi to Help People
Helping others to safeguard against more mystical threats, energy and things we cannot see.
This is Chi which is hard to see in Feng Shui, but is always present. at Best. oh, how I am wanting to see this movie again!
We try to tap into the Good Chi, energy or activate it. For the Bad Chi or Bad energy, we try to avoid these areas and by not activating these areas.

Chi is like energy, cannot be created or destroyed.
In Feng Shui, we seek to Find locate and tap into our Chi flow of our environments. If this is not possible we will attempt to redirect, re-channel, refresh or revitalize Chi to enjoy good Fresh Prosperous energy into our living environments.
To achieve this goal, many different lineages or schools of Feng Shui, use and share their own unique techniques and methods.
Classical Feng Shui can be classified as an art of understanding how Chi (life force energy) can be harnessed from hidden forces in our environment, with the help of manipulating or tapping into the time and space.
